Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Gather Supplies
First things first, let’s make sure I have all the essentials for making my bath bomb kit. I gather my Bath Bomb Molds, Baking Scale, Mixing Bowls, Whisk, and Spray Bottle. Can't forget the main ingredients: Citric Acid, Baking Soda, Epsom Salt, Essential Oils, and Food Coloring.
Step 2: Prep My Workspace
Time to set up my crafting station! I lay down some Parchment Paper to keep things clean and organized. I put on my Apron because I don't want to get my clothes all messy. Oh, and I grab my Gloves to protect my hands from the ingredients!
Step 3: Measuring Ingredients
I take my Baking Scale and start measuring out the dry ingredients: I need a precise amount of Baking Soda and Citric Acid. It's a bit like baking, only way more colorful and fun!
Step 4: Mix Dry Ingredients
With my Mixing Bowl ready, I pour in the Baking Soda, followed by the Citric Acid and Epsom Salt. Whisk it all together with my Whisk until everything is well combined – I love the fine texture!
Step 5: Add Color and Scent
Now comes the exciting part! I choose some vibrant Food Coloring and carefully add a few drops to the dry mix. Then, I select my favorite Essential Oils and add a delightful scent. The mixture starts to smell heavenly!
Step 6: Mix Wet and Dry
In another bowl, I prepare a little Water in my Spray Bottle. I spritz it over the dry mix while gently stirring with my Mixing Spoon. It’s important to do this slowly to avoid activating the fizz!
Step 7: Mold the Mixture
Once the mix holds its shape when squeezed, I take my Bath Bomb Molds. I pack the mixture tight into the molds, pressing firmly so they won’t crumble. I feel like an artisan, crafting little spheres of relaxation!
Step 8: Let Dry
I carefully remove the filled molds and place the bath bombs on my Parchment Paper. Now, I let them dry for at least 24 hours. The anticipation is part of the fun!
Step 9: Final Touch
Once dried, I store my completed bath bombs in a lovely box, ready to use or gift. I can't wait to hop into a warm bath with one of these beauties!
