- Water Separator
- Mortar and Pestle

Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Gather Your Materials
I start by gathering all my equipment: the Essential Oil Distiller, Glass Dropper Bottles, Measuring Cups, Stainless Steel Pots, Water Separator, Mortar and Pestle, some fresh Plant Material (herbs and flowers), a Thermometer, pH Test Strips, Labels, and my trusty Marker. It's exciting to see everything laid out and ready to go!
Step 2: Prepare the Plant Material
Next, I grab my herbs and flowers and place them in the Mortar. Using the Pestle, I gently crush them to release their essential oils. It's a satisfying process, and the aroma fills the air. I make sure to do this step carefully to maximize the oils I can extract!
Step 3: Set Up the Distillation Equipment
With the plant material prepped, I set up my Essential Oil Distiller. I fill the Stainless Steel Pot with water and add the crushed plant material into the distillation chamber. It feels like I'm setting up for a science experiment, and I can't wait to see what happens!
Step 4: Heat the Mixture
I turn on the heat and keep a close eye on the Thermometer. As the mixture heats up, steam rises and carries the essential oils with it. It's fascinating to observe the transformation as the steam travels through the distiller.
Step 5: Collect the Essential Oils
The steam condenses in the Water Separator, where it converts back to liquid. I watch as the essential oils separate from the water. I carefully collect the oils in a Glass Dropper Bottle, feeling accomplished with each drop that fills the bottle!
Step 6: Test the pH
Now, it's time to test the pH of my essential oils using the pH Test Strips. I dip a strip into a small sample of the oil to ensure its quality. It's a fun little experiment that adds a scientific touch to the process!
Step 7: Label Your Creation
After ensuring everything is just right, I take out the Labels and Marker. I write down the name of the essential oil and the date, feeling proud. My very own crafted essential oil deserves a label that reflects its uniqueness!
Step 8: Breathe in the Aroma
Finally, I take a moment to breathe in the aroma of my freshly crafted essential oil. It's incredibly rewarding to enjoy the fruits of my labor. I'm excited to use it in my DIY projects or as a natural remedy!
