Step 1: Gather Your Supplies
I start by collecting all my equipment in a cozy workspace. I lay out my scrapbook album, adhesive glue stick, double-sided tape, scissors, decorative washi tape, colored markers, stickers, and embellishments. I’m excited to see everything in one place!
Step 2: Select My Favorite Photos
I go through my digital photos from my travels and pick out my favorite ones to print. Each photo tells a story, and I want to make sure I capture the best moments!
Step 3: Print My Photos
Using the photo print service, I get my selected photographs printed. I choose different sizes for variety! I can’t wait to see how they turn out.
Step 4: Plan the Layout
Before sticking anything down, I take a moment to plan the layout of my scrapbook pages. I arrange the photos and embellishments on the pages to visualize how I want each page to look.
Step 5: Adhere the Photos
With my layouts planned, I start adhering the photos to the pages using the adhesive glue stick and double-sided tape. I make sure everything is stuck down securely.
Step 6: Add Creative Elements
Now it's time to add some personality! I use decorative washi tape to frame my photos and add colored markers to write captions. Stickers and embellishments like feathers and sequins go on to add flair.
Step 7: Journal My Memories
I take out my colored markers and begin to journal about each photo. I include dates, locations, and little anecdotes from my travels. This adds a personal touch to my scrapbook.
Step 8: Use Photo Corner Stickers
For a fun vintage look, I use photo corner stickers to attach some of my smaller pictures. It gives my pages a charming, eclectic vibe.
Step 9: Create Keepsake Envelopes
I use memory cards or keepsake envelopes to store little mementos from my trips, like tickets or postcards. I stick these onto the pages and make labels for them!
Step 10: Final Touches
I step back and look at my pages. I use stamps and ink pads to add fun patterns and doodles on blank spaces, and then I finish up by trimming any excess paper using the craft cutting mat and paper trimmer.
Step 11: Store My Supplies
Once I’m done, I store all my extra supplies in the pencil case or storage box, so I’m ready for my next creative adventure. My mini scrapbook is a beautiful compilation of my travels!
