You ever come back from a trip and just... feel all the feels? Like, that moment when you're unpacking and those little souvenirs just spark a thousand memories? Well, I've been thinking it'd be amazing to create a themed scrapbook for all my vacations! I mean, can you imagine flipping through a colorful book filled with photos, tickets, and all those goofy little notes? What if I captured the essence of each destination, like that random street musician in Barcelona who made my afternoon unforgettable? It’s like, why not turn those fleeting memories into something tangible? I just want a way to relive the laughter, the adventures, and even the mishaps with a turn of a page. Who wouldn’t want that?

Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Gather Your Equipment
I've collected all my supplies: the scrapbook album, double-sided tape, glue stick, scissors, decorative stickers, colored pens, photo corner stickers, washi tape, printed photos from my vacations, cardstock paper, stencils, ruler, pencil and eraser, embellishments, adhesive foam dots, and my paper trimmer.
Step 2: Plan the Layout
Before I start sticking anything down, I spread out my printed photos and arrange them on the scrapbook pages. I decide which photos go together based on themes or locations.
Step 3: Trim and Prepare Photos
Using my paper trimmer, I trim the edges of my printed photos if necessary, making sure they fit nicely on the pages and look good when I place them next to each other.
Step 4: Create Backgrounds
I cut cardstock paper to use as backgrounds for each page or section. I choose colors that match the theme of the vacation photos.
Step 5: Attach Backgrounds
Using my glue stick, I carefully attach the cardstock backgrounds to the scrapbook pages, making sure they are centered and secure.
Step 6: Photo Placement
Now it's time to place my photos! I use photo corner stickers to make it easy to reposition my photos if needed. I arrange them according to my earlier plan.
Step 7: Decorate with Washi Tape
To add some flair, I use decorative washi tape along the edges of the photos and backgrounds. It adds color and texture.
Step 8: Add Titles with Stencils
Using my stencils, I create fun titles for each page. I choose colored pens that stand out and match the theme.
Step 9: Embellish the Pages
I go through my embellishments and pick out ribbons, buttons, and other fun items to add to my scrapbook. I secure them using double-sided tape or glue.
Step 10: Write Captions
With my colored pens, I write captions near each photo or section, describing the memories associated with them.
Step 11: Final Touches
I check each page for balance and completeness, adding any final touches like stickers or drawings to fill in empty spaces.
Step 12: Enjoy and Share!
Once I finish, I flip through the pages of my themed vacation scrapbook, reliving those special moments and excitement. I can't wait to share it with friends and family!
