Have you ever just paused and thought about all the amazing people in your life? Lately, I've been toying with this idea of creating a wall of gratitude in my living room. It sounds a bit cheesy, right? But think about it—how often do we take a moment to really appreciate those who brighten our days? Last week, I found an old note from my best friend tucked away in a book, and it hit me like a ton of bricks. How many little moments slip by unacknowledged? I want this wall to be a constant reminder of love and support, a splash of color against the grey days, and honestly, who doesn’t need a daily dose of gratitude to lift their spirits?

Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Gather My Supplies
I start by gathering all my equipment: corkboard, sticky notes, push pins, markers, decorative paper, string lights, tape, wall adhesive tabs, frames, scissors, ruler, display stand (if needed), vinyl lettering (optional), and my backup bulletin board.
Step 2: Select the Wall Space
I find a wall in my home where I can create my gratitude wall. Ideally, it's a space I see often to remind me of what I'm grateful for.
Step 3: Prepare the Corkboard
If I'm using the corkboard, I want to make sure it’s clean and dust-free. I can also decide if I want to frame it or decorate it with some decorative paper.
Step 4: Layout My Design
I lay out my corkboard and decide how I want to arrange the sticky notes and decorative paper. I can measure with a ruler if I want them spaced evenly.
Step 5: Cut Decorative Paper
I take some decorative paper and cut it into fun shapes or sizes that I can use as backgrounds for my sticky notes. It makes the wall pop more!
Step 6: Write My Gratitudes
With my markers, I write down a list of things I'm grateful for on the sticky notes. I can use different colors to make it vibrant.
Step 7: Attach Notes and Paper
I start pinning the sticky notes onto the corkboard with push pins, arranging them with the decorative paper behind them for added flair.
Step 8: Add String Lights
To create a warm and cozy atmosphere, I carefully drape string lights around the corkboard, securing them with tape or adhesive tabs.
Step 9: Display Frames or Stand
If I have photos or special notes, I can put them into frames and hang them on the corkboard or use a display stand.
Step 10: Final Touches with Vinyl Lettering
If I feel creative, I use some vinyl lettering to write a title or motivational quote at the top of my gratitude wall.
Step 11: Step Back and Admire
Finally, I step back to admire my wall of gratitude. I can feel the positive energy radiating from it, and it’s a constant reminder of my blessings!
