You ever look through your phone and feel a little overwhelmed by all those pictures just sitting there, collecting digital dust? I know I do! It's like, why not give those memories a proper home? I’ve been itching to create a DIY photo sharing board—something personal and fun that captures all those spontaneous moments, like my cat's ridiculous face or that sunset from last summer's camping trip. Wouldn’t it be nice to walk into a room and see all those smiles and silly poses staring back at me? Imagine the stories behind each photo, right there in front of you, sparking nostalgia and laughter with every glance. It just sounds so rewarding to make something that invites everyone to reminisce together. Plus, I think it would be a perfect excuse to gather friends and family for some crafting and memory-sharing fun!

Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Gather All Materials
First, I gather all my materials to make it easier when I start setting up my DIY photo sharing board. I have my cork board, push pins, photo prints, string lights, decorative washi tape, scissors, ruler, markers, photo frames, and magnetic tape ready to go!
Step 2: Plan the Layout
I take my cork board and a look at my photo prints. I decide how I want to arrange them by laying them out on the board first without pushing any pins in. I'll make sure to mix sizes and colors to create a balanced look.
Step 3: Attach String Lights
Next, I take the string lights and start weaving them around the edges of the cork board. I'll secure them with push pins so they stay in place. This will warm up the design and give it a nice ambiance.
Step 4: Pin Up the Photo Prints
Now it's time to attach my photo prints! Using the push pins, I start pinning them onto the cork board according to the layout I planned. I mix some horizontal and vertical placements for a more dynamic look.
Step 5: Decorate with Washi Tape
I grab my decorative washi tape and begin adding fun borders around some of the photos to make them pop. I also create some decorative shapes with the tape that add personality to the board.
Step 6: Add Photo Frames
I select a few special prints and place them in photo frames. I then decide where to place these on the board, using the push pins to hold the frames securely in place.
Step 7: Use Magnetic Tape for Flexibility
To give myself the option to change photos easily, I cut small pieces of magnetic tape and attach them to the backs of some prints. This way, I can swap them out whenever I get new photos!
Step 8: Labels and Quotes
Using my markers, I write some fun quotes or labels on small pieces of paper and stick them onto the board with push pins. This adds character and can even remind me of special moments.
Step 9: Final Touches
Finally, I step back and take a look at my photo board. I adjust a few photos and lights to ensure everything looks just right. It’s now a bright and cheerful display for all my favorite memories!
