Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Gather My Equipment
First, I gather all the equipment I need for my herbal tea kit. I lay out the Herbal Tea Infuser, Teapot, Measuring Spoons, empty Tea Bags, Mortar and Pestle, Storage Jars, Hot Water Kettle, Strainer, Labeling Stickers, and my Herbal Guide Book.
Step 2: Choose My Herbs
Next, I flip through my Herbal Guide Book to explore the different herbs I can use. I get excited as I find out about chamomile, peppermint, and hibiscus! I decide on a blend that I think I would love.
Step 3: Measure My Herbs
Using the Measuring Spoons, I carefully measure out the dried herbs I picked. I love the colors and textures of the herbs as I pour them into small bowls.
Step 4: Mix the Herbs
Using the Mortar and Pestle, I gently crush some of the herbs to release their oils and flavors. It feels so rewarding to create my own special blend!
Step 5: Fill the Tea Bags
Now, I take my empty Tea Bags and start filling them with the mixed herbs. I make sure to leave some space for the herbs to expand when I brew the tea.
Step 6: Label My Tea Bags
I grab the Labeling Stickers and write down the names of my blends along with their ingredients. This makes it feel so official, and I love seeing my creations named!
Step 7: Prepare the Tea
I fill my Hot Water Kettle with fresh water and set it to boil. Meanwhile, I get my Teapot ready and place the tea bags inside.
Step 8: Strain and Enjoy
Once the water boils, I pour it over the tea bags in the Teapot. I let it steep for a few minutes, savoring the wonderful scents. When it's ready, I use the Strainer to pour the tea into my cup.
Step 9: Taste Test
Finally, I take a sip of my homemade herbal tea blend. The flavors are amazing! I feel proud that I created this myself. I can't wait to share it with friends.
