You know, I’ve been thinking a lot about how fast time flies—can you believe it? One moment you’re a kid, just goofing around with your dad, and the next you’re an adult, still wishing for those carefree days. I feel this urge to create a photo collage, a beautiful mishmash of moments we’ve shared. Remember that fishing trip where we didn’t catch a single thing but laughed so hard? Or the camping trips where we’d roast marshmallows and he’d tell the silliest stories? Isn’t it crazy how those little memories can mean the world? I just want to gather all those snapshots of joy and turn them into something special we can cherish forever. Wouldn't it be nice to look back and smile at our journey together?

Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Gather Everything Together
I start by gathering all my equipment in one place: my digital camera, photo editing software, collage template, printer, photo paper, scissors, glue, poster board, and some decorative items to make my collage fun and personal.
Step 2: Capture New Memories
I take my digital camera and decide to capture some new memories with my dad. We go outside and I take candid shots of us playing catch, laughing, and just having a good time together.
Step 3: Select Favorite Photos
Once we are back inside, I connect my camera to my computer and download all the photos. I go through them and pick out my favorite ones that truly represent our fun day together.
Step 4: Edit Photos
Using my photo editing software, I enhance the selected photos. I adjust the brightness and colors, maybe apply a fun filter or two to give the images a cohesive look.
Step 5: Choose a Collage Template
Next, I open the collage template in the software. I drag and drop my edited photos into the template, arranging them in a way that looks cool and tells the story of our day.
Step 6: Print the Collage
After I'm satisfied with the collage layout, I print it out on my photo paper using my printer. The excitement builds up as I wait for the printer to finish!
Step 7: Prepare the Backing Board
While the collage is printing, I prepare my poster board or canvas. I lay it flat on the table, ready to mount my collage on it.
Step 8: Cut and Glue the Collage
Once the collage is printed, I carefully cut around it if needed and then use glue or adhesive to stick it onto the poster board or canvas. I make sure it’s centered and looks just right.
Step 9: Add Decorative Items
Now comes the fun part! I take out my decorative items like stickers, colored markers, or even some washi tape. I creatively embellish my collage with these items to give it personality and flair.
Step 10: Final Touches
I step back to admire my work. I might add a title or some captions to the collage to describe what we did that day. It's time to let it dry completely.
Step 11: Display It Proudly!
Once everything is dry, I find a perfect spot in my home to display my beautiful photo collage with my dad. I feel proud looking at it, remembering our fun day together!
