Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Gather Your Ingredients
First things first, let's gather all my equipment and ingredients. I'll need my Mixing Bowl, Measuring Cups, Measuring Spoons, and the scale to ensure everything is on point. Oh, and I can't forget my fun colorants and essential oils!
Step 2: Mix the Dry Ingredients
In my Mixing Bowl, I’m going to whisk together 1 cup of Baking Soda, 1/2 cup of Citric Acid, and 1/2 cup of Epsom Salt. The fizzing action is going to be amazing when I drop these in the bath!
Step 3: Add the Colorants
Next, I'm going to add my colorants to the dry mix. I’ll sprinkle a few drops of colorant and whisk them in until I get a vibrant mix. I'm feeling super creative already!
Step 4: Prepare the Wet Ingredients
Now it’s time for the fun part! In a separate bowl, I’m going to mix together 2 1/2 tablespoons of essential oils, and a tiny bit of water. I’ll watch this mixture like a hawk since I want it just right!
Step 5: Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients
Slowly, I’ll drizzle the wet mixture into the dry mix while whisking constantly. I am looking for a consistency similar to damp sand. I need to be careful not to add too much liquid at once – a little sprinkle will do!
Step 6: Mold My Bath Bombs
Once my mixture is ready, I’ll put on my Rubber Gloves and begin packing the mixture tightly into my Bath Bomb Molds. It’s like making little castles of relaxation! I’ll press firmly to ensure they hold their shape.
Step 7: Let Them Dry
Now I need to let my bath bombs dry. I’ll gently pop them out of the molds and place them on some Parchment Paper. I’ll leave them to set for at least 24 hours. Patience is key!
Step 8: Store and Enjoy!
Once they are dry, I’ll carefully store them in my Storage Container. They'll be fresh and ready for my next bath adventure. When the time comes, dropping one in the tub is going to feel like a mini vacation!
